Water Hacks

First things first, do you know how much water you should be drinking daily?

Answer: For each pound you weigh you should be drinking half an ounce to an ounce of your total body weight.

i.e. if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking minimum 75 ounces – 150 ounces of water daily.

If you struggle with your water intake, then here are some water hacks for you!

How to drink more water?

  • If you have yet to do so already, purchase a good quality water bottle that holds 32+ ounces. Clear ones are great to see how much you have left to drink before filling back up!

  • Before you go to bed make sure you have a 16 oz. glass of water on your bedside – to drink first thing in the morning.

    • Add lemon – for extra detoxing benefits (helps speed up metabolism and with inflammation).

  • Drink a glass of water with every meal – flavor it with berries, cucumber, lime, lemon. Makes it more flavorful and more enjoyable.

  • Add some BCAA’s (Branch Chain Amino Acids) – this not only helps make your water taste delicious, but also helps with muscle recovery.
